  Is there a laundry service available?

  Yes, we have a third-party partner responsible for the laundry service (additional charge apply).

  What do I do if I accidentally left some items in the hotel?

  If you have left any items behind following your stay at the hotel, please contact our reception directly via phone on +353 (0)61 436 100 or info.limerick@maldronhotels.com and our team will be happy to organise collection or postage if the item is found. We keep all lost and found items for one year.

  Are pets permitted in the hotel?

  No, pets are not allowed in the hotel, with the exception of guide and assistance animals.

  Is the hotel reception desk open 24 hours a day?

  Yes, the reception desk is staffed 24 hours day.

  What is the hotel’s smoking policy?

  Maldron Hotel Limerick operates a strictly non-smoking policy. We do have a designated smoking area in the hotel to accommodate guests who smoke. A deep cleaning fee will be charged to guests who are found to be in breach of our no smoking policy.

  Do you sell gift vouchers?

  Yes, we have Maldron Hotels gift cards available to purchase at reception or online. Our gift cards can be used in any Maldron Hotel or Clayton Hotel and can be redeemed towards accommodation, Club membership or dinner.

  Do you supply travel adapters?

  Yes, we provide some travel adaptors (subject to availability) and they can also be purchased in one of the hotel’s vending machines.

  Do you provide printing facilities for boarding passes?

  Yes, our reception team can assist with printing your boarding pass.

  Does the hotel offer currency exchange?

  No, but we will be happy to direct you to the nearest facility.

  Are there babysitting services available?

  If you’re interested in utilising a babysitter service, Maldron Hotel Limerick recommends “Last Minute Minders” who can provide you with a Garda vetted babysitter during your stay. Please note that pre-booking is essential.

  Where exactly is the hotel located in Limerick?

  Maldron Hotel Limerick is located just outside of Limerick city centre. You will reach the city centre within a 10 minutes drive or a 30 minutes walk of the hotel. A taxi ride will approximately cost €8 one way. For more information visit our location page.

  Does the hotel offer parking?

  Yes, Maldron Hotel Limerick offers amply secure underground car parking which is free of charge to guests.

  Is the hotel located near any shopping centres?

  Less than a 10 minutes drive from our hotel, you will find the Crescent Shopping Centre with retail outlets including H&M, Zara, Shaws, Penneys, Tesco, Heatons, Smiggles, Lifestyle sport, Elvery’s, Field Jewellers, Holland & Barrett, O’Briens sandwiches and Butlers chocolates. The shopping centre is one of the biggest and most successful shopping centres outside of Dublin, offering 37,000m2 of retail space, including also restaurants, a cinema, a public library as well as offices of Limerick county council.

  How close are public transport links to the hotel?

  You will find a bus stop less than a 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Colbert Bus and Train Station is less than a 1o minute drive from Maldron Hotel Limerick.

  What is there to do in Limerick?

  Maldron Hotel Limerick is ideally located to access all that the Shannon region has to offer. With direct access to all major road networks, the hotel puts all attractions at easy reach. Visit the Hunt Museum in the city centre, the People Park, King Johns Castle and an array of local bars, restaurants and clubs.

  Further afield, and within 20 minutes of the hotel lies Bunratty Castle, Folk Park and Castletroy. Foynes Flying Boat Museum and Adare Heritage Centre are other options to consider. The hotel is also just 20 minutes away from Shannon Airport.

  What room types does the hotel offer?

  Maldron Hotel Limerick boasts 142 spaciously designed bedrooms. Depending on your needs, you can choose between 4 different room types, including Double Rooms, Twin Rooms, Triple Rooms and Family Rooms. We also have a few rooms with a balcony and/or view of the garden as well as interconnecting rooms for families (subject to availability).

  Do you have wheelchair-accessible rooms?

  Yes, we have 8 wheelchair accessible rooms available, some on each floor. These rooms have more space to move inside the room and adapted shower. Please contact us directly to discuss availability.

  Do you have family rooms?

  Yes, we have a number of spacious family rooms available. Each of our family rooms is comprised of a double and two single beds, ideal for 2 adults and 2 children under 12. Please contact our reservations team to check availability.

  Can I get a cot or camp bed in my room?

  Yes, cots and camp beds are available on request. Please contact our reception team should you wish to discuss the availability of a cot or camp bed in your room.

  Are the hotel rooms air-conditioned?

  No, our bedrooms have no air-conditioning.

  Do the bathrooms have a shower or a bath?

  All our bedrooms have a shower over bath.

  Does the hotel offer wake-up calls?

  Yes, wake-up calls can be arranged with our reception team.

  What in-room amenities are included?

  All of our bedrooms are equipped with a hairdryer, an iron and an ironing board, tea/coffee making facilities, toiletries and extra pillows for your complimentary use. Please contact our reception team if you should have are any further requirements.

  What dining options are available at the hotel?

  Whether it be breakfast, lunch, dinner or just a quick snack on the go, our cosy Grain & Grill bar and restaurant on the first floor offers a variety of finest local produced meals for all tastes and needs 7 days a week.

  Does the hotel offer breakfast?

  Yes, we are renowned for a great selection of breakfast options available each morning. Choose from traditional Irish breakfast items as well as healthier and nutritious options to kickstart your morning. Breakfast is served in our Grain & Grill restaurant 7 days a week from 7am to 10am Monday to Friday and from 8am to 11am at weekends and bank holidays.

  Maldron Hotel Limerick offers both room only and bed & breakfast rates. Room-only rates do not include breakfast. If breakfast isn’t included in your rate, you can still purchase breakfast on your arrival.

  What are the opening times of the Grain & Grill?

  Our Grain & Grill bar and restaurant opens daily for lunch and dinner. Carvery lunch is served from 12:30pm to 2pm and there is a full bar food menu available until 9.:30pm.

  Does the restaurant cater food for allergies?

  Yes, all of our menus have a full allergy listing. Please inform your waiter if you have any allergies, vegetarian or dietary requirements and our kitchen team will be delighted to assist. We also have gluten-free options available.

  Does Gain & Grill offer a dedicated kid’s menu?

  Yes, we offer an extensive menu for our little ones, including also our healthy options for the perfect family meal in Limerick.

  Do you provide room service?

  Yes, room service is available daily from 5:30pm to 9:15pm. You can order from our Click & Go menu, available through our Guest Service Platform. The food can be then collected at the collection point in our restaurant.

  Is there a reservation for dinner required?

  No, a dining reservation is in general not required and we’re happy to accept restaurant walk-ins. However, we advise you to reserve your table in advance to avoid disappointment or to discuss any individual dining requirements you might have.   Do you cater for large groups? Can I book a private dining space for a special occasion?

  Yes, we cater for large groups and special occasions, from communions to confirmations, office parties, sports team events, any family celebrations or even just a casual business meeting. • Leisure Facilities

  Does the hotel offer a swimming pool and gym facilities on-site?

  Yes, our leisure centre has a 20m swimming pool with a separate kiddies pool which are both heated. We also have a jacuzzi, sauna and steam room on-site. For our more active guests, we provide a fully equipped and state-of-the-art gym catering for cardio, core and strength training. Whether you want to maintain your workout routine or plan to relax and unwind, you can do both in Club Vitae at Maldron Hotel Limerick.

  What are the opening hours of the leisure facilities?

  The leisure centre at Maldron Hotel Limerick opens from 7am to 10pm Monday to Friday and from 8am to 9pm on weekends and bank holidays.

  Kids are welcome until in the pool area from 9am to 7pm daily.

  Is there an age limit for using the leisure facilities?

  Yes, children under 12 years old must be fully supervised and have a parent or guardian in the pool with them at all times. Please note that under 16’s are not permitted to use the gym facilities.

  Is the use of the leisure facilities complimentary for guests?

  Yes, the use of our leisure facilities is complimentary to all of our guests.

  Is there a spa in the hotel?

  Does the hotel have meeting rooms?

  Yes, Maldron Hotel Limerick has 12 dedicated and flexible meeting rooms suitable for small to medium-sized meetings such as interviews, group meetings, seminars, training days and workshops.

  How many people do your meeting rooms accommodate?

  Depending on the layout and room, we can accommodate from 2 to 50 people theatre-style.

  What equipment is included in the meeting rooms?

  All meeting rooms are fully equipped with a LCD projector, flipcharts, still and sparkling water, mints as well as pads and pencils. In addition, free high-speed WiFi will be provided complimentary in all meeting rooms as well as air conditioning. All rooms also have floor to ceiling windows with black-out blinds.

  Are there food and beverage options available?

  Can I claim back on the Stay and Spend Tax Credit Scheme?

  Yes, we are delighted to confirm that all Maldron Hotels are registered for the Stay and Spend Tax Credit Scheme. That means if you stay with us between 1st October 2020 and 30th April 2021 you can claim up to €125 under this scheme, please see revenue.ie for more information and details.

  What is the best way to make a reservation?

  What should I do if I haven’t received a booking confirmation?

  What payment methods does the hotel accept?

  At Maldron Hotel Limerick, we accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express.

  What is the hotel’s credit/debit card policy?

  Bookings require a credit card for guarantee only unless otherwise stated. No cash payment is allowed for bookings, we only take payment via credit card with photo ID. For some special offers and specific dates, full payment is required at time of booking but these terms will be outlined in the special offer terms & conditions. Please note that no rooms will be let unless payment is guaranteed.

  What age are children for the purpose of hotel packages?

  Children are categorised as under 12 for hotel package purposes.

  How do I make a group or multiple rooms booking?

  To make a group or multi-room booking, please contact our reservations team via phone on +353 (0)61 436 100 and they’re happy to assist you with your request.

  Are there any age restrictions when booking a hotel room?

  To book a hotel room, you must be at least 18 years old. All under 18s must be accompanied by a guardian or parent. Identification will be required.

  Can I show up at the hotel without a booking?

  Yes, we accept walk-in bookings (subject to availability). However, we would always recommend to call ahead to the hotel or booking online prior to arriving to secure your reservation and to avoid disappointment.

  Can I extend my stay?

  Yes, depending on availability, we’ll be happy to accommodate you for further nights at an additional cost. Please contact our reception team at any stage during your stay and we will happily arrange the rest for you.

  How do I amend or cancel my booking?

  If you have booked directly with the hotel, you can amend or cancel your booking by visiting the ‘Manage Booking’ section on our website by using your confirmation number and email address. Alternatively, you can call us directly on +353 (0)61 436 100 or email info.limerick@maldronhotels.com to cancel or amend your booking.

  What is the cancellation policy?

  If you have booked the reservation directly with the hotel over the phone or online, Maldron Hotel Limerick offers free cancellation up to 2pm prior to the day of arrival unless advance purchase non-refundable rate was selected. Please note that some special offers and key dates outlined in the terms and conditions may specify a special cancellation policy applicable to that offer and date.

  How can I cancel my reservation if I booked via a third-party website?

  Reservations booked via third-party websites or online travel agents must be cancelled directly with them as we cannot do that on your behalf. Please note that third-party websites and online travel agents have their own cancellation policies, so please refer to your confirmation email.

  What does our “no show” policy entail?

  If you do not show on the day of your booking or didn’t successfully cancel, you will be charged the full amount for your first night’s stay. If you have booked our “advanced purchase” or “prepay and save” rates, you will incur a 100% penalty charge for the entire duration of your stay. Please do ensure that you contact reservations should you wish to cancel your booking.
