Night at the Dogs

Limerick Greyhound stadium is the ultimate destination for a night out in Limerick.

Each race night, enjoy 10 fast paced races that take place every 15 minutes. Racing takes place on Friday and Saturday nights. The stadium opens at 6.45 pm and the first race is at approx. 7.45 pm. Limerick Greyhound stadium is the ideal night out for race lovers, corporate nights out, Hen nights, Stags or a fun night out with friends.

The Gaelic Grounds

Home of Limerick Hurling and Limerick Football.

The Gaelic Grounds is home to the Limerick hurling and football teams. The stadium has the largest capacity in Mid-West Region; 24,000 Seated and 25,500 Terraced. The first steps towards creating the grounds are they are today were taken way back in1926. Two years later the grounds officially opened with two junior hurling games. 2004 saw a €12 million project with the opening of two new terraces and a 12,000 capacity stand.The current capacity of the Gaelic Grounds is 49,500 and a trip to Limerick is not complete for any GAA fan without a visit to this area of Limerick.

Bunratty Castle & Folk Park

King Johns Castle

This famous castle, originally built in the 13th century was reopened in June 2013, following a multi million euro investment. The brand new visitor centre with state of the art interpretive activities and exhibitions profiles each aspect of the Castles history from its humble beginnings. After your tour of the castle you can visit the café while enjoying the castle views and the River Shannon.

The whole experience of the visit to King Johns Castle has been brought into the 21st Century with computer generated animation, 3D models projections and an activity room. The whole family will love this new interactive experience while traveling through time,
